Nestled on the beachside waterfront adjacent to an endless array of marine life lies Campo Archelon: a former sea turtle research centre turned campground.

Because of this rich history in sea turtle conservation, this seclusive hidden gem works to encourage ecotourism.

Campo Archelon is run by Antonio and Bety Resendiz, a powerful mother/son duo with decades of experience in marine biology. Their passion for sustainability and conservation is evidently displayed in even the smallest details, from compostable takeout containers to the trash separation and conscious recycling.

Archelon boasts beachfront palapas and 4 rustic cabins. You can enjoy an amazing selection of wine, coffee, and a wide selection of delicious food off their menu at Siete Filos - the in-house coffee shop.

Wake up to spectacular sunrises, hear the waves from your cabin as they wash onto shore, and watch the stars create a constellation mosaic above you at night.

Welcome to Campo Archelon
